According to some information provided by Automotive News, BMW is getting ready to hit the Californian market with some 500 all-electric Minis.
In Oxford, England they will assemble the silver hatchbacks with yellow roofs while the batteries and motor will be installed in Munich. Once they are shipped to US, only 490 will go on sale (but rumors say they have already been leased to "some people"), the rest of 10 remaining show cars.
ince this is no official information, all we can do for now is sit and wait until BMW announces something on pricing, availability and probably some specs.
