Jul31	Audi RS6 Avant Gets Tuned up to 702hp by MTM Alex Ion July 31, 2008 Know More: Audi Audi RS6, Audi RS6 Avant, Mtm Audi, mtm audi rs6 m, Mtm Audi Rs6 M, mtm rs6 m, Mtm Rs6 M, RS6, rs6 I'm not the biggest fan of station wagons but I can change my mind if they bring in the arguments. Audi did. Actually MTM did. How? They got their hands on Audi's RS6 Avant and managed to improve the 580-hp twin-turbo V10 derived from Lamborghini Gallardo, into a small powerplant that goes up to 702 hp now. That's what I call improvement, wouldn't you? How they did it? Pretty simple. An ECU tweak raised the power to 656hp and then a stainless steel exhaust and a new air filter made it big: 702 hp. So what we got here? A hatchback that can fight with most of the supercars we've known by now. It goes 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and has some reserved carbon fiber aero bits, a new set of brakes, revised dampers and 21-inch wheels. That's something I'd be willing to te against a Gallardo myself.
