With the success of the Prius, Toyota is planning a next-generation model to be launched sometime in 2009. The first rumors come from a Toyota Korea source who's saying that it should be available in United States, Japan and Korea next year in April. 
I suppose we're going to see the new Prius at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show and we'll know more, but meanwhile here's another good news: the hybrid is going to be sold for a very "aggressive" price in Korea which makes me think they really want a bigger market share and will probably do the same in the States.
I think they're on the right track, with the new Prius and with their new improved hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle. What do you think?

I've always liked the Prius, the look and the price point. This one looks pretty futuristic; like it could have been in one of those movies where the cars of the future were depicted. I don't know if I like that futuristic look though...
