The Peugeot 407 is undergoing some modern day plastic surgery, for the Station Wagon and the Saloon. to celebrate the 4th anniversary.
Some reconstructive procedures the 2008 model will be going through, are more chrome additions like the vertical bars in the grill, subtle alterations to the tail lights and some other minor visual improvements.![]()
What I particularly like is the organ transplant happening under the hood with the upgraded 2.0 litre HDi engine, that produces 103kW/140bhp (3kW improvement) and requires only 5.6 litres per 100km, emitting 150g/km of CO2. Oh yes, that baby meets the Euro 5 emissions standards.
There are also some inside treats like a new telematics system, parking assist and on-board climate control. Another thing worth noting is the new engine Peugeot added to its range: the 2.0 litre Bioflex that runs on Ethanol fuel and which will be available where governments apply the biofuel tax incentive.
