The new Renault Laguna GT is no longer hot news but the fact that it's going to be sold this summer, is. It was developed by Renault's Sport Technologies division and will be offered both with a petrol and a diesel engine with pretty good specs.

The diesel is a 2.0L dCi that sports 180hp and 400Nm of torque, does the hundred (kmh) in 8.5 seconds, has a mixed city/highway fuel consumption of 6.5L/100km and 172 g/km CO2 emissions. At the same time the sportier version is the one using the 2.0L 16-valve petrol engine with 205hp, 300Nm of torque, fuel consumption of 8.2L/100km and 194 g/km of CO2 emissions.

On the exterior the most interesting things are the lateral air-intakes, smoked rear lamps and aerodynamic sills, twin tailpipe and Celsium wheels equipped with 225/45 18-inch special Bridgestone Potenza tyres.
