The new Chevy Cobalt SS Sedan has been presented for viewing purposes only in Bakersfield, CA at a driving event. These are the first pictures we get to see but we've managed to find out that it's going to use a 2.0L turbocharged (direct injection) V8 engine that develops 260 hp.

 

The Coupe is going to be released to dealers in just a few months while the Sedan should arrive late 2008 or early 2009 starting at $22,995 with a $495 limited-slip differential, a sunroof, metallic paint, and a rear wing being the only options. That price is going to offer as standard Continental summer tires and Brembo brakes.

 

I think it's a good value for the price.
