Last year, I attended the event for the first time and was amazed at the multi-national fan adulation for the riders competing in the Red Bull MotoGP World Championship.
The 11th stop of the 18-race series is scheduled to return to the raceway, July 18-20, 2008.
In addition to the MotoGP event, competition will be held in the AMA Superbike and Supersport series as well as two races in the new Red Bull Rookies Cup.
On Friday, July 19, racing in all four categories will be held, including two one-hour MotoGP practice sessions and qualifying for Saturday’s AMA Supersport race.
On Saturday, July 20, highlights will include the MotoGP World Championship qualifying and the first finals of the event -- Race 1 of the Red Bull Rookies Cup and the 17-lap contest for AMA Pro Honda Oils Supersport Championship presented by Shoei
Three race finals will be held Sunday, July 21: The MotoGP World Championship, the second Red Bull Rookies Cup and the AMA Superbike Championship presented by Parts Unlimited.
